Every print is made to order, not held in stock, and shipped within 10–15 business days of your order. Delivery time after that depends on the destination.

Every print is made on Hahnemühle fine art paper: 100% cotton, acid-free and archival. We work with three of their papers: Photo Rag 308, smooth and matte; Photo Rag Baryta 315, with a delicate gloss; and Museum Etching 350, matte with a subtly textured surface. The paper for each photograph is chosen together with our printer, for the best match to its light, colour and tone. Limited Edition prints use the same papers, and are numbered, hand-signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.

A small selection of photographs is offered as a Limited Edition, from 40×60 cm. Each size has its own fixed number of copies, shown on the photograph's page together with how many are still available, and no more prints will ever be made of that photograph at that size.

Every Limited Edition print is hand-signed, numbered in order of purchase (for example 2/6), and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The same photographs are also available in the smaller sizes, 20×30 and 30×45 cm, as open-edition Fine Art prints, which are not signed or numbered.

If the parcel looks damaged when it arrives, refuse the delivery or, if you accept it, note the damage with the carrier and keep the packaging. If a print arrives damaged or with a defect, write to us as soon as you can, ideally within 7 days, with a photo of the print and of the packaging. We'll send you a new print or a refund, at no cost to you. Cancellations and returns are covered in our Terms of Sale.

Every print is handled with gloves, wrapped in protective paper, rolled and shipped in a rigid tube (9 cm wide, with 3 mm walls), the safest way to send a print on fine art paper.

When it arrives, slide the print out of the tube gently, holding it by the edges with clean, dry hands, and let it rest on a clean, flat surface for a day or two, until it lies flat again. Or simply hand it to your framer still rolled. Cotton paper can keep a slight, gentle wave; it's natural to the paper and settles once the print is framed.

Until it's framed, keep it out of direct sunlight and away from damp. If anything arrives damaged, see the answer above.

Sizes refer to the image itself. Every print has a white border, 2 cm on the 20×30 and 3 cm on larger sizes, so a 40×60 cm print comes on a 46×66 cm sheet, worth knowing when choosing a frame.

Use "See it on a wall" on each photograph to see it at true scale in a familiar room. As a general guide, a print should feel proportional to the wall or the furniture near it, a closer viewing distance suits a smaller size, and a wall seen from across a room can carry a larger one.

Screens vary in brightness and colour, so no monitor will match a print exactly. Every file is checked for colour accuracy before printing, so what arrives reflects the photograph as intended, not necessarily pixel for pixel what you saw on your own screen.
